The Foundation provides scholarships for post-secondary study at colleges, universities and vocation/technical institutions within 100 miles of the Sacramento County Courthouse. All eligible high school seniors living in the greater Sacramento region may apply for these scholarships.

Awarded to students enrolled in Barrett and other high-achieving students at any class-level. Award recipient is required to participate in community service in the Greater Phoenix Jewish community. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3 and be involved in the Jewish Studies Program at Arizona State University.

A minimum award of $500 to support travel or research, awarded to seniors and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, pursuing a concentration in Jewish Studies within the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies. Half of the total award will be made in each of two semesters.

The Shelly Saltzman Scholarship for Education awards students majoring in education or related fields. Applicants must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be a Jewish resident of the Cleveland area, have a family household income of $150,000 or less, and plan to or currently attend a four year college or university.

This scholarship opportunity assists new immigrants to pursue post-secondary education, obtain professional training, or re-certify and upgrade their skills. To be eligible, applicants must have arrived in Canada in the past 5 years, be current or former clients of JIAS Toronto, and have demonstrated financial need.
